Cascina Moasca is a self-catering Farmhouse available to rent in the hills between the Langhe and Monferrato area of Piedmont; or Piemonte in Italian.Our accommodation is available to rent as a complete Farmhouse but can be one or two bedroom apartments.
This traditional vaulted roof Farmhouse is set amongst the vineyards near Canelli, also home to the underground cellars - the οΏ½cathedralsοΏ½, that house the production of Asti Spumante. It will appeal to anyone wishing to explore the Langhe and Monferrato areas of Piedmont.
For the food and wine lover the area is world reknowned for it's produce, such as the white truffle, porcini mushroom, hazelnuts, cheese and salami. The wines include , arguably Italy's best - Barolo, Barbera, Dolcetto, Moscato, Barberesco which can be sampled in the fine enoteca or restaurants found everywhere in the locale.
Along with the areas rich culture and history, you can explore the historic towns and villages or maybe simply relax in our accommodation.
Accommodation Summary : The complete Farmhouse comprises of the upstairs and downstairs apartments.
On the ground floor is a kitchen, lounge with sofa bed, and the master bedroom with king size bed, downstairs shower and wc.
Upstairs you have another kitchen, lounge and two bedrooms.
Day Trips Italian lakes, less than 2 hours by car.
The Alps and nearest ski resort an hour by car.
Genoa and the coast an hour by car.
Milan, Turin, Genoa and Parma between 1-2 hours by car.
Local Interest The Langhe and Piedmont has a large number of artisan food and wine producers, we will be happy to arrange visits to local vineyards and cheese producers where you can learn about the process and sample and by produce.
Local towns of interest are Acqui Terme, Canelli, Alba and Asti. Information leaflets are in the house and we are happy to provide more information on events in the locality such as the Assedio in Canelli, Truffle Fair in Alba and Palio in Asti.
Special Interest We are happy to accommodate bikers and/or cyclists and can offer safe and secure parking for bikes inside and behind electric gates.
We are also happy to provide maps and details of local bike/cycling events and routes popular in the area with local bikers and cyclists.

If you want to make a booking look for the Green Shield on the top right of the property advert, if you do not see our Green Shield it may mean we have not yet completed the verification process. We normally complete this process within a few days if no verification is forthcoming the advert is removed.
