Elegant property of the 17th century, completely renovated in 2008, maintaining the original layout, restoring the antique furniture and dusting off any old curious that could summon up echoes of the past.
We know the origins of Casa Biozzi much from the date 1666 that is stamped on a brick of the terracotta floor in the piano nobile kitchen, and from the coat-of-arms over the ancient fireplace and the rusticated stone arch around the ground floor entrance.
This coat-of-arms, six mountains and a star, seems to have belonged to the Chigi family, more specifically to Pope Alexander VII Chigi, who lived in this era, dying in 1667.
The beautiful stairway in Casa Biozzi is made of 19th century "pietra serena" and still features its original cast-iron balustrade.
The property is very centrally located, in the proximity to local infrastructures, thermal and wellness spa, shops and restaurants.

Places of interest AREZZO (64 Km) The city offers innumerable artistic masterpieces: one of these is the mediaeval church of San Francesco where Piero della Francesca painted “The legend of the True Cross".
LAMA'S FOREST: riding or hiking area where you can enjoy fishing, gathering mushrooms and chestnuts.
THE SANCTUARY OF LA VERNA (45 Km) where S.Francesco received his stigmata in 1224. Many precious terrecotte of Andrea della Robbia can be seen in the Basilica.
SANSEPOLCRO (Km45) The birthplace of Piero della Francesca: four frescoes of the artist are preserved in the Museo Civico.
URBINO (110 Km) The Palazzo Ducale houses a particularly impressive art collection including one of the world's greatest and most startling images, Piero della Francesca's Flagellation of Christ.
RAVENNA (Km85) the city is famous for its history, the mosaic art and eight monumental buildings declared from UNESCO “Heritage of Humanity”
SAN MARINO (km75) The tiny republic is situated at the top of Mount Titano.
