Sivas is an ideal starting point for trips to the beaches of Matala, Agiofarago Kalamaki, Lendas Kali Limenes, Komos, Agia Galini and Preveli.
Nearby are the excavations of Phestos, Agia Triada, Gortis and chapels, like the rock chapel Marzalos and the Monasteries Odigitria, Kaliviani, Kardiotissa, Ag. Antonios, Ag. Nikolaos. Moreover the museum Vorous can be visited.
In addition the environment is ideal for long walks and migrations. There are many routes, like e.g. by the Rouvas ravine. The quite simple way is to be created in approx. 2 hours. Or you move on one of the long paths close of the lake in Zaros, into the mountains. A very well-known moving route leads to the Camaraiko cave, close of the place of coming acre.
