Two apartments with long balconies at the front have amazing view of temples and sea, within walking distance to golden sandy beaches, shops, bars and restaurants.
Less than an hour away from many fascinating places and 50 min from Trapani and Palermo airports.
The apartments are located in the attractive resort of Selinunte, close to all the facilities, shops, restaurants, bars and beaches.
The archaeological park with Greek temples is opposite and the beautiful golden sandy beaches are easy walking distance. The apartments are on the first and second floors of a private house close to the temple dedicated to the goddess Hera and the Acropolis stands in front. The apartments are well placed between a Sicilian cake shop and a restaurant and a green-grocer, grocers and the butchers shop are next door. Around the corner there is a pizzeria and a restaurant, and around another corner a bar!
All the other village facilities, bars, restaurants etc are easily accessible on foot.

The village facilities include a chemist, a post office, a bank, two cash machines, 2 small supermarkets, two bakeries, a newsagent, and several craft shops with beautiful pottery painted in Selinunte, a 24-hour doctor’s surgery, small hotels, bars, restaurants and plenty of sandy beaches.
Selinunte is within an hour's drive of many historical sites, beautiful beaches and interesting places to visit. There are many beautiful golden sandy beaches in Selinunte. The closest beaches in the village are a 5/10 minute walk from the apartment. The Pineta beach is a 5 minute drive and 5 minute walk in the nature reserve. This beach in the nature reserve has miles of golden sand.
Sicily is brimming with history. Selinunte is within approximately 1 hour of Agrigento, Sciacca, Mazara del Vallo, Marsala, Mozia, Trapani, Erice, Segesta, and many other interesting places.
Boat Excursions - A day out with lunch on board the San Andrea, spectacular views the temples from the sea!
Walking - The Nature Reserve provides interesting walkways across the sand dunes behind the Pineta beach.
Wine Tasting - Sicilian wine is becoming well known in Britain. You can visit the many excellent wineries in the area.
Shopping - Wonderful Street markets on different days in all the local towns, with an array of exotic gifts and food.
More Activities Theatre Visits - Palermo’s Teatro Massimo has a varied programme and is well worth a visit. Open air performances in the spectacular Greek amphitheatre at Segesta are held in the summer months.
Spas, Thermal Pools and Massage - There are three spa centres with natural hot pools, massage and treatments for health and beauty all around 30 minutes drive from the village. Sciacca Spa has been famous since Selinunte Greek times!
Wining and Dining - Many excellent bars and restaurants within minutes walk from the apartment.

Learn Italian: Italian lessons can be arranged to suit your needs - beginner to advanced from children to adults.
Painting/sketching - An idyllic setting to inspire anyone with inkling to put pencil to paper! A tutor is available on request. Painting courses are run in June and September/October.
Art/Architecture/History Tours: with an English guide, pick up from your apartment.
Activities can be arranged by the hour, single half days, full days or more.

Scheduled flights - daily from London Heathrow/Gatwick and regional airports, change usually in Rome or Milan.
