The ancient village of Serrone ( roman origin with meideval characteristics) is situated at an altitude of about 750 metres at the southern side of Monte Scalambra (1402 metres), Ernici mountain chain. At halfway up the hill there are ilex trees, on the contrary at the top of the mountain there are beech trees.
Near Serrone there are other interesting towns like Fiuggi (thermal place), Anagni (called �the papal city�), Piglio, Paliano, Alatri, Arcinazzo tableland, Fumone, Trevi nel Lazio, Vallepietra, Olevano Romano. The typical products are Cesanese wine, olive oil, �ciambella serronese�. The sports that you can do are trekking, paragliding and cycle racing on cycle path.

The studio flat includes a small kitchen (fitted up with all the necessary to cook) with marsh gas, a sofa bed for two people, two wardrobes and a chest of drawers, little bathroom (with shower), dining area with table for 6 people, fridge and TV, central heating (marsh gas), boiler 50 Lt. Within walking distance of the studio there are: grocery store, butcher, post office, Town Hall restaurants, pub, bars, tobacconist and the Main Square.

bars, restaurants-pub (IL SAN MICHELE), tobacconist, grocery store, butcher, post office, the Main Square and Town Hall.
TRANSPORT Rome Airports: Ciampino (Ryanair/Easyjet, Myair, Wizz Air) 45 mins. Fiumicino (BA/Alitalia, etc) 75 mins. A rental car is recommended for sightseeing and shopping. The train service to Roma Termini (central station) is quite frequent (every hour or so)and takes 50 mins for Colleferro train station. The house can be accessed from the motorway A1 (Rome-Naples)follow the exit of Colleferro (or train station) about 20 mins. The owner can provide a low-powered car. You can use it for short trips such as to visit the neighbouring villages or to go to the nearest railway station in Colleferro (20 minutes) from where you can easily reach Rome by train (in 45-50 minutes)
