The apartment is fully air-conditioned, bright and relaxing with that holiday feeling. There is double mosquito netting making it ideal for both winter and summer stays. There is a fire extinguisher and fire blanket in the appartment. There is no gas installation in the building. The appartment is surrounded by landscaped gardens with a beautiful display of colourful flowers all year around. The furnished patio area overlooks a wonderful L shaped pool surrounded by banana trees. There are four swimming pools on site, with outsite showers, bathroom kept meticiously clean. Bicycle hire is also available within the complex.
The beach of Ilha de Tavira is reached by ferryboat from Tavira riverside which is 5 mins drive from the appartment. The delightful short boat accross from the habour takes about 10mins . There are miles of beautiful white sandy beaches with many small restaurants serving delicious food. There are boats for hire with water sports widely available, football goal posts and volleyball nets- something for everyone. There are 6 prestigious golf courses east of Tavira all within 20mins drive.
Large shopping centre , within walking distance of appartment. For shoe lovers there are some beautiful shoe shops in Tavira. Tavira town is still a working fishing port and considered to be elegant and the most beautiful town on the Algarve. There are plenty of little pavement cafes and restaurant along the banks of the palm lined river, offering cheap but delicious food. There is a daily market selling fresh produce, fruit and veg, meat and fish all cheap and inexpensive. You will find lots of small shops as you stroll the beautiful cobble paths in the town, or relax in the shade in the park next to the river where people gather to pass the time of day.
