Tresnuraghes is a traditional village with about 1800 inhabitants, where you can still see religious celebrations and processions, folk dances and traditional horse races. Shops, markets, bank, pharmacy, internet-point, etc. are all within walking distance.
The countryside and hills all around are beautiful and offer the possibility of horse rides and cycle trips. The area is well-known for its Malvasia vineyards. Bosa, the nearest town (5000 inhabitants) has a very interesting historical centre, with churches, monuments and a medieval castle, little shops and restaurants. In Bosa Marina, you can practice scuba diving, sailing, kite, canoeing and bicycle riding.
During spring and summer, traditional feasts are held almost every week in different villages of the region, where you can taste typical food and buy local handicrafts.
