The villa is located on the outskirts of Buger, one of the few unspoilt, traditional Mallorcan villages. The village (5 mins walk) is located on a small hill, topped by the church. Local amenities include supermarket, a bank, chemist, Post Office, bars/restaurants, bakery, and a Saturday morning market. The English owners live on the ground floor with their 2 friendly dogs and are happy to assist you with sightseeing ideas and directions.

Activities
Mallorca is a very beautiful, diverse, cosmopolitan island. The whole island only takes 1.5 hours to drive from north to south and has plenty of lovely places to visit from churches, museums, vineyards and markets to water parks and golf courses. There is walking, riding, cycling, birdwatching, swimming, climbing, caving, diving and all sorts of sailing to be had within 20 minutes of the apartment.
Mallorca has over 20 golf courses with Pollensa and Alcanada being the nearest, only a 10-15 minute drive away. For keen cyclists there is an excellent hire shop 15 minutes away - details available on request. This area is also ideal for walking/hiking/climbing as well as beach activities. There are various places of interest nearby, 10-20 minutes by car. E.g. caves at Campanet, nature park at Albufera and several beaches.
Buger Amenities
The villa is on the edge of the village and is a 5 minute walk to the main square. There is a supermarket, bakery, chemist, a post office, bank, bars/restaurants in and around the main square.
Travel
The villa is approximately 35 minutes by car from the airport, mostly motorway. Car hire is recommended. There is a train station at nearby Sa Pobla, 5 minutes by car, that goes to Palma & there is a regular bus service in the village.
