SUNNY HOUSE WEST 2 double bedrooms on second floor open onto sun terrace with a sunbed & deck chairs and ocean & mountain views.
On the top floor of the house the single bedroom with mountain views is next to a second lounge area with ocean views. The lounge opens onto a second sun terrace with a barbecue & both mountain & ocean views.
SUNNY HOUSE EAST second floor has 2 double bedrooms sleeping 4 with ocean and mountain views & bathroom close by. Next to them is a small terrace with sunbeds. On the 3rd floor there is an open plan lounge with again ocean & mountain views. The lounge opens onto a second terrace with a traditional barbecue.
WI FI INTERNET ACCESS is available in both Sunny House East & Sunny House West but clients must bring a portable computer. We have tried to make both houses as comfortable as possible like a private home. So, they include bedlinen, house towels, a hair dryer, some tourist information, a small library of books and DVD films. Change of linen and towels is provided weekly. WELCOME PACK : on check-in there is tea, coffee, milk, water and a bottle of wine! so that you are comfortable when you check-in. The houses are NO SMOKING so please smoke outside the houses.
Sorry we do not have the manpower resources to keep the calendars correct. Please email us with the dates that you want to rent the property and we will reply as soon as we can on availability.
Please Note: The owner of this property accepts payment in the original currency specified (Euro), before use of conversion tool. The conversion tool is provided for your convenience only. The owner may accept other currencies if specifically agreed in advance.
Additional information about rental rates
The prices above are for 3 people sharing the accommodation. The house accommodates 6 people. There is a supplement of 6 for the fourth, fifth and sixth person for each night
Deposit: a deposit of 30% of the total rental price must be made within 5 days to secure a booking and the balance must be paid 6 weeks before check-in at the accommodation.
Bookings made within less than 6 weeks of check-in: when a booking is made within less than 6 weeks before check-in, the total payment is required within 5 days and it is non-refundable.
Payment is by bank to bank transfer to a Portuguese or UK account.
Communication of cancellation: clients wishing to cancel must communicate this in writing immediately to the managers of the property.
PAUL DO MAR plenty to do!: The village has a small supermarket, shops, a bank, medical centre, bars/cafes & restaurants. Popular activities in & around the village are: LEVADA FOREST WALKS. fishing, swimming, snorkelling & surfing. Paul quite flat for Madeira is easy to walk around, roller-skate & cycle. There are many FESTAS (festivals) & the streets are alive with different languages as the locals who work abroad return home for a well-earnt holiday with family and friends! FREE SWIMMING is easy from certain points including the lagoon next to the harbour and THE WHITE SAND BEACHES in Calheta town -10 minutes drive away. From Calheta marina DOLPHIN WHALE WATCHING BIG GAME FISHING BOATS operate. Also in Calheta Town area there are FREE WHITE SAND BEACHES, an international art centre CASA DAS MUDAS which stages performances and exhibitions small shopping centres and a SUPERMARKET. PRAZERES village has a small ZOO Art galleries & restaurants. From Ribeira Brava there's easy access to the North.

CLOSE TO NATURE: still a centre for fishing and agriculture with a new fishing harbour and many banana fields 'Paul' is now more famous for the feel-good factor peace and relaxation in the country on the hottest Madeiran coastline with the most sunshine. This means that all can relax, swim and walk in these sunnier and hotter climes all year round! Popular amongst walkers, fishermen and swimmers with several safe swimming areas and closeness to famous mountain and levada walks PR 6 and the 'Rabacal/25 fountains' PR 19 walk. Attractions include WHITE SAND BEACHES next to CALHETA MARINA 10 minutes drive, a rum factory ENGENHOS with a museum, Prazeres village with 17th century church, fruit and vegetable market and QUINTA PEDAGOGICA - a free animal park, art gallery and cider house! Plus, there is the award-winning international art centre: CASA DAS MUDAS & UNESCO-protected ANCIENT LAURISILVA FOREST. Whale/dolphin-watching and big-game fishing boats operate from Calheta marina.

Nice place to stay and relax. Best service by Paul and good tips for touring.
The house is clean, sunny and nothing will be missed. The weather was almost sunny and beautiful. Paul do Mar is the sunnyest place of Madeira!
We will be back to Sunny House as soon as possible.

"Sunnyhouse West war der perfekte Standort für unseren Aufenthalt auf Madeira. Das Haus ist komplett und reichlich ausgestattet ausgestattet, absolut sauber und top in Ordnung. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend.Die Lage absolut ruhig und trotzdem sind von dort alle Punkte der Insel schnell zu erreichen. Unvergesslich die Abende auf der Dachterasse mit Atlantikblick und den Rufen der Cagarros. Die Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen!!
Best place to stay on Madeira. Quiet but even near to all interesting places on the island. The house is situated in a little banana garden, very clean and there was all we needed. Great momments...sitting on the terrace and watching the sunsets and listening the sounds of hte Cagarros flying above us.The owner are very friendly and helpfull and living near by.
Go there and have good holidays!
