It is secluded but not isolated being only 30 minutes from the airport of Alicante, the beaches of Torrevieja, Guardamar and 5 different golf courses. The area provides an excellent base for walking, cycling or visiting the inland area of this region with its castles and parks. If you want to relax around the large heated pool you can take in the views across the Vega Baja to the Med in the distance. If shopping is your scene then try out the 4 large malls all within 30 minutes of the villa. Bars, cafes, restaurants, shops and banks all in Albatera, a short drive away.

Notes on Amenities :
This is a b+b and therefore has no kitchen facilities. The area around the pool has loungers and towels for your use and there is ample room for lilos and games. There is a petanca court, like boules, and a golf game to pass some fun time in the large gardens. There is a dog on site so own pet(s) by arrangement only.
If travelling alone or you do not want to share a bed we can offer 2 rooms to rent and will only charge 25 euros per person per night to include all of the amenities and breakfast. If 2 rooms booked at the same time receive a 10% discount on total price.

Nearby
Our villa is close to Elche and Orihuela. Murcia and Alicante cities are 30 minutes away or you can take the train to Alicante or Murcia which is cheap and always on time.
We have lived in Spain for more than 15 years so we can suggest days out/sightseeing trips/walks/historical or interesting buildings to see or discuss general living in Spain on a permanent or semi permanent basis
Eating out
In Albatera there are innumerable bars, cafes and restaurants where you can sample the real Spain. There are excellent eating places in the surrounding towns and villages too. Nearby malls offer a huge selection of Spanish, Italian and Mexican places to eat and drink.
Transportation
You will need a car to get around. The buses are ok and the trains to the city are good. The motorway is 5kms from the villa so it is ideally placed for sight seeing or getting to those important places easily.

Ray and Chris made us very welcome, advised us on places to visit, and provided very generous breakfasts and evening meals and endless supplies of fruit, cakes and drinks. The accommodation was palatial and the pool was perfect, with impressive views. Highly recommended.

The service experienced at the this B&B was excellent. The rooms were very clean and tidy and it really felt like being at home with all the little extras, like shampoo, shower gel, hand cream etc. Ray and Chris were an extremely pleasant couple and a good laugh too. The breakfast varied each day and the fruit picked fresh from their grounds was a bonus. Will definitely stay again should the opportunity arise. Sharon and Davy, Omagh

We arrived to a very warm welcome, the house is set in a beautiful part of Spain close to Alicante and Murcia airports. and is exactly the type of accommodation we were looking for. Chris and Ray along with their two dogs were the perfect hosts and tended to our every need. The house is very spacious, the pool which is heated was very inviting after a day exploring the countryside. The breakfasts were very apertizing and varied. We shall certainly return to explore more of the area and hopefully stay with Chris and Ray.

We were looking for property in spain and stayed at Buenavista B+B although it seems out in the sticks its very pleasant and not far from the town we were looked after very very well. Nothing was to much trouble, the food and company were all you could want Chris&ray would bend over backwards to make sure everything was just right we would recommend this B+B to anyone

Although we stayed during one of the hottest periods of the year we could escape to the mountains and picnic in shady cool places. Visit Tapas bars and markets. A great location to cycle and keep fit away from the congestion of holiday makers on the coast. Chris and Ray extremely hospitable and nothing was too much trouble. If you were concerned about where to go and what to eat they would always be at hand to advise you. The pool is huge and very inviting after a long day sightseeing. Amazing breakfasts included freshly picked white figs, oranges etc and tomatoes the size of footballs. Looking forward to returning this year.

Arrived knackered - met at the airport and transported to my weekend of relaxation. Rested , swam, ran and chilled out for 3 days and returned to London with renewed energy - just what i needed!

We stayed three days while looking for houses. Really a good time with good advices.
Rooms were pefect, quiet and comfortable.
Chris and Ray are very nice people with a great humour.
Food is great both by the stove and by the grill.
