Description of appartment accurate, it is a nice place. We had 1 night with 6 adults and 2 kids
Although it seems a reasonable way out of centre of Ed there is a bus at the end of the road that takes you there in about 20 mins.
Was quite easy to get a parking sace outside too.
Recommended for: Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Generally we were very pleased with the flat and plan to use this accomodation again when required.
One item that I would draw attention to is the lack of available additional lighting in the Front Room. Either a more powerful central light or add some stand alone or wall lights to assist light levels.

Description was accurate of facilities available and part of my family choose to visit the owner's restaurant. (Good meals had by all).

We would recommend use of this property to other friends and family.

The flat was clean and tidy but we would also recommend some anti-slip mat in the bath for use when opting for a shower.
Recommended for: Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

We stayed in this property for 4 nights over New Years 09-10. It was exactly as advertised and made for a perfect stay. It is quite a large unit and comfortably slept 8 adults. Having a fully stocked kitchen, washing machine and wireless internet made it just like home.
The house is about 10mins out of the centre of town by the number 11 bus. A bus stop is located about 50m down the road, as well as a takeaway store and off licence.
The unit was very clean and the owner was a pleasure to deal with. Brochures, maps and information were provided in the unit which made it easy to get around and also know what was available in the town.
I would happily recommend this unit to anyone I know. It made for a wonderful New Years eve in the beautiful Edinburgh.
