Lovely Holiday Apartment in La Oliva, Fuerteventura
Looking to escape from the crowds & unwind? Relax & enjoy our bright, modern apartment which is the perfect base for the more discerning traveller wanting a taste of real Fuerteventuran life. Just a stone's throw away from the beautiful white sugar-sanded lagoon beaches, reputed to be some of the best in Europe, the village is a haven for the beach-lover & a Mecca for the water sports enthusiast. Our apartment is equidistant from the sandy coves in the north & the surf beach in the south so you can enjoy the best of both. The clear turquoise waters of the many lagoon beaches are protected from the Atlantic by a volcanic reef which keeps the water calm and makes them ideal for swimming, snorkeling or just paddling in the rock pools which are left teeming with little fish when the tide goes out. The more remote beaches are 'naturist friendly' & very peaceful so you can usually find yourself a quiet spot to relax & perfect that all-over tan.

All linen and towels are supplied (except beach towels) and changed weekly. For stays over 1 week a mid-holiday clean is provided. A welcome pack can be provided by our local British management team at additional cost if you are arriving on a late flight.
There is a variety of beach equipment you are welcome to use. ie beach chairs, small sun parasol, wind shelter, flippers, boules, cool box etc and these can be taken to the beach on the understanding that they are replaced if they are lost or broken
A deposit of £100 (non-refundable) is required on booking. Balance payable 8 weeks before departure. Flights - Easyjet offer inexpensive direct flights to Fuerteventura from Bristol Gatwick and Liverpool with connections to other UK airports. Ryanair from Stansted.Leeds Bradford & Bournemouth.Monarch fly from Gatwick and Manchester. Other charter airlines offer flights all year round.
Local information
El Cotillo, on the north west coast of the island is 20mins drive from Corralejo.Fuerteventura is the most laid-back of the islands & just 100km from coast of Morocco & basks in 3000+ hrs of sunshine each year. Largely undeveloped it has a year-round warm temp, rarely dropping below 20C making it an ideal destination whenever you visit. The island is all about peace and tranquility and its charm lies in its rugged volcanic landscape, its tiny white villages & its Caribbean-like beaches.Excellent for all water sports. Kitesurfing, wind surfing, diving, fishing, swimming,walking, cycling birdwatching. The dramatic 'surf beach' with rolling Atlantic breakers is 5 mins walk away & closest lagoon beach c10mins in other direction. There's a beach bar on the second lagoon but beyond that you will need to take your own supplies as after that is just beach & and more beach most of which are 'clothes optional'
Shopping. Restaurants & Beaches
There is a well stocked supermarket, a patisserie for fresh bread and a local tapas bar approximately 2 mins walk away. Within easy walking distance there is an Italian bistro, several banks with ATMs, a variety of other restaurants and bars, a hairdresser, an internet/phone shop, newspaper and gift shop etc. There is also a public tennis court and a cycle hire and surf shop nearby.A five minute stoll will take you to the quaint old harbour which has some which has some lovely restaurants and bars and is the perfect spot to watch the famous El Cotillo sunset over the sea.
The area has a very laid back approach to naturism and attracts people from all over Europe who come to enjoy the freedoms afforded by the beaches here. If you are looking for a beach orientated holiday without any razzmatazz then this is the place to come.
Getting around
40 minutes drive from Puerte del Rosario Airport. Car hire, whilst not essential, is recommended as it gives you the flexibility to explore this beautiful island - the seemingly endless blinding-white sand dunes at Corralejo are a must-see! There is a good regular bus service to the main resort of Corralejo and connections to Puerto Del Rosario. Airport pick up can be arranged. Apart from being a deterrent, it also encourages advertisers to make sure they verify their property, giving you peace of mind when you make your booking.
If you want to make a booking look for the Green Shield on the top right of the property advert, if you do not see our Green Shield it may mean we have not yet completed the verification process. We normally complete this process within a few days if no verification is forthcoming the advert is removed.
