Lovely south facing villa close to the sea.

Casa "La Luz" is a lovely villa with everything you will need for any type of holiday.Come to "La Luz" to just sit back and relax around the private heated pool and read a book or just sit back and take in the ambience.You can enjoy a BBQ or even eat you own cooking in the beautiful open ended "Alfresco" dining area.The TV has a few UK and Spanish channels and there is also a DVD player.The villa is just three minutes walk to the sea where you can sit and read a book or just enjoy watching the waves crashing over the rocks.There are mountain views as well as sea views.You can get a bus into the centre of Playa Blanca for about 1-15 euro,the bus runs every thirty minutes and it is very punctual.If you do not wish to go into town you have a couple of supermarkets/restaurants and a couple of bars as well as a lovely patisserie all within a few minutes walk from the villa.If you have decided to come and just have a complete rest,we can arrange for an airport pickup to save you driving.

Notes on Amenities :   We politely asked our guests not to smoke inside of the villa.The reason we ask you to smoke outside of the villa is for the comfort of the following guests who may be non smokers and we would like to thank you in advance for your consideration with the above.The villa is not adapted for wheel-chairs but wheel-chairs are more than welcome. There are only two very low steps which would be no problem for a wheel-chair and the french doors open wide enough to give wheel-chairs access to the garden and pool area as well as the Al-Fresco dining area.There is a sun terrace with sun loungers next to the pool which is south facing and there is also a nice open ended dining area with marble table and bench seats.If you want to sit under the covered area outside of the patio doors there are: Two armchairs and a settee with cushions on, together with a coffee table.
YOU CAN ALSO HAVE A NICE RELAXING SOAK IN THE HOT TUB WITH A NICE GLASS OF BUBBLY TO ROUND OFF THE EVENING.

Lanzarote is seething with sights to see.There are so many places of interest that it would be impossible to list them all but, here are a few to give you an idea.There are museums/caves tours/scuba diving/sea fishing/art galleries/terrific panoramic view points.Lanzarote has it's own desalination plant which some people will find was well worth the visit.We have Timanfayer (Fire mountain) where the restaurant is still run from the heat from the volcano.We also have the "Cesar Manrique" foundation. Cesar Manrique designed and sculptured many things over the years.Examples of his work can be seen all over the island and some of his most famous works can be seen in the centre of round-a-bouts across the island and you can also visit "Cesar Manriques" house which is similar to a museum. Unfortunately Cesar Manrique passed away in a road accident but his work and memory lives on.Lanzarote also has a few marinas,two of which are Puerto Calero and Marina Rubicon, both serve excellent food.
 

You will find a few cards and leaflets in the villa from the local bars and restaurants and previous clients comments will also help but, as there are so many fine places to eat you may find that exploring them is all part of the fun.We have never heard any detrimental comments about any of the local places to eat and no clients to date have written negative reports on any but, all businesses have dissatisfied customers and most of the time it comes down to taste and choice and it is not always the food or the staff whom are to blame. We try our best to be open minded and we strive to make your holiday memorable and hope that you will return again one day.There are many markets on Lanzarote, the biggest being in Teguise where a lot of the people come from Morocco and Senegal to sell the goods and you will also be able to sample the local food at many of these markets.
 

There is a very reliable bus service.The bus stop is within a short walk and runs every half an hour.The bus takes you into Playa Blanca where you can get other buses, if you want to travel across the island.The bus stops in the port "Puerto" there is a pedestrian only shopping thoroughfare which runs parallel with the sea front which has an abundance of sea front restaurants.You can also jump on the ferry which takes you across to Fuerteventura.The ferry takes approximately 30 minutes.

Why is Lupain Holiday Rentals the only holiday rental company to verify the ownership of holiday accommodation? Research has shown that not all advertisers are genuine. There have been cases where people have booked holiday accommodation only to find out it does not exist.

This sort of ‘scam’ is hard to comprehend but these days fraudsters are coming up with ever more imaginative ways of obtaining money by deception from innocent people like you. We do not want holidaymakers who book with us to fall victim to this type of scheme. Money is mostly hard earned we know, so taking a holiday is usually a major expense. In addition, we do not want you to remember us for a shattered dream.

Therefore, in order to protect you we have introduced our Owner Verification Scheme. We ask all holiday home advertisers to submit proof that they own the property they are advertising. Only when we are satisfied that an advertiser and their property is genuine do we add our Green Shield to their property advert. Apart from being a deterrent, it also encourages advertisers to make sure they verify their property, giving you peace of mind when you make your booking.

If you want to make a booking look for the Green Shield on the top right of the property advert, if you do not see our Green Shield it may mean we have not yet completed the verification process.
