This luxury air conditioned 1st floor apartment is in a prime position at an exclusive part of the strip with stunning 180 degree front line views over the marina, Med, Mar Menor and mountains beyond.
The marina has many excellent restaurants and bars and from here you can take boat trips, hire boats, go on a diving trip or take the foot ferry across the Mar Menor.
Long stretches of unspoilt beaches and the famous therapeutic mud are only a few hundred metres away, and a great variety of water sports close by.
The apartment is one of only a few frontline apartments for rent in the complex with a double width balcony directly overlooking the marina. We also have full air conditioning, underfloor heating, two double bedrooms with balcony and great views, a fitted kitchen and two bathrooms.
Historic Cartagena is 30 mins away with great shopping, attractions and Roman monuments.

The large full-width south facing balcony has stunning 180 degree unrestricted views out over the Tomas Maestra marina, Mar Menor and mountains beyond. There is a wide selection of excellent restaurants and bars nearby including a 5 star spa hotel next door. In addition to the pools and mini tennis court, long stretches of unspoilt Mar Menor and Mediterranean beaches can be found just a few hundred metres away. The apartment sleeps four people and is equipped with a full-width balcony with views directly over the marina, full air conditioning, under floor heating, two bedrooms (1 double and 1 twin), 2 bathrooms and a fitted kitchen, each bedroom has its own balcony with stunning views. The apartment is ideal for a relaxing holiday just watching the boats sail by from the comfort of the balcony, or for an activity holiday from a great variety of water sports close by. Free cycle hire nearby.
Electricity, linen, towels and final clean are included in the price.
Midweek bookings are possible. Extra nights are available at pro rata rates. Same day changeovers no problem.
A supplement is applicable to stays of less than one week.

Booking deposit £100. Balance of payment is due 6 weeks prior to departure together with a refundable £100 key deposit.

Local Area:
Blue flag beaches and boat trips make this a favourite place for all the family. There are boat trips from the marina to local islands in both the Med and the Mar Menor. You can rest, practice sport and also get to know the local history, or participate in the traditional fiestas of the area. The historic towns of Cartagena (30 mins away) and Murcia (60 mins drive) are well worth visiting for the shopping, Roman monuments and sightseeing. Cartagena is full of interesting architecture, has many museums, and has an historic marina with tourist trips around the harbour. The shopping in the historic centre is great. Murcia also has a zoo, water park and acquarium. There are small towns nearby for sightseeing and shopping including Los Belones and Santiago de la Ribera. You can take the foot ferry from the marina to Santiago de la Ribera, the Spanish air display team practices here. Further afield you can take a scenic tour through the local mountains or visit the flamingos.
Cuisine:
A world of flavours is offered to the visitors of La Manga, and the typically Mediterranean style of cooking is available in the restaurants. This includes paellas, fresh fish, freshly grilled meats and succulent salads. There are a variety of excellent restaurants at the marina including Italian, Mexican, and Asian.
Sport and activities
Thanks to the geographic conditions and the climate, La Manga del Mar Menor is probably the best place in the world for practicing nautical sports. No one need travel far to practice their water sport; sailing, canoeing, water skiing, windsurfing, kite surfing, jet skiing, diving and most other nautical sports. Apart from the water sports, the area offers a great variety of other activities to suit all tastes such as sight seeing, guided walking tours, horse riding, fishing, pleasure flights, coastal hikes and bird watching at the nearby nature reserves. The world famous La Manga Club is 20 minutes drive away with many quality golf courses nearby. There are tennis clubs with courts open to the public all year round, plus paddle tennis and squash. In addition there is a roller-skating rink and full size go-kart track.
The road which runs through La Manga has been built to offer cyclists the safety of a cycle-lane and theres an absence of hills throughout the strip.

Just to let you know our holiday in your apartment was lovely. The apartment was very clean with everything to hand and the pickup and dropoff at the airports very reasonable. We very much enjoyed the proximity of both the Mar Menor and the Meditteranean. The local bus was very much used as was the local supermarket and the trips to the marina were very good together with the ferry trip over to Santiago de la Ribera. We would certainly think about a return visit and recommending
friends and family to go. Cheryl was extremely helpful in her help on knowledge of the area etc. Although it was very quiet this we enjoyed.
