From the hall of the scriptorium-building with its marvelous ancient tiled floor the vestibule under a vaulted ceiling leads to a bathroom with bath tub, shower over and heated towel rail, lounge/dining area and kitchen with gas hob/ electric oven/dishwasher/washer-dryer/fridge with icebox (tall windows into the ceiling give plenty of light & views towards the Abbey Church, Moat House & the old trees of the west part of the abbey grounds) A staircase leads to the bedroom with king-size double bed -suiting easily an abbot- under the original high ceiling, a sky light to watch stars & clouds from your bed and the special atmosphere created by stained-glass windows with symbols of the past.

Only when we are satisfied that an advertiser and their property is genuine do we add our Green Shield to their property advert. Apart from being a deterrent, it also encourages advertisers to make sure they verify their property, giving you peace of mind when you make your booking.
If you want to make a booking look for the Green Shield on the top right of the property advert, if you do not see our Green Shield it may mean we have not yet completed the verification process. We normally complete this process within a few days if no verification is forthcoming the advert is removed.
