Los cristianos area
Los Cristianos still has the feel of a small fishing village,the fishing fleet still unload the fish at the harbour,also you are able to buy the fresh catch from stalls nearby. Why not sit in the church square and people watch,if you visit when a fiesta is on you will find yourselve caught up in the parade, and with street entertainment,dancing, and fireworks it is a day to remember.From the harbour you can take a boat trip to see the Whales and Dolphins.For the more sporty ,there is a host of water sports, golf, walking trails,quad biking,horse riding,bowling,and a visit to the new Siam water park is a must.Take a trip up Mount Teide where many movies have been made.Also there are several markets held in different areas each week.
The local airport is Tenerife South (Renia Sofia ) There are plenty taxis at the airport the fare is about 25 euro (always best to confirm with the driver) los cristianos is about 20 mins from the airport on the TF1.
a express bus service is available from the airport and the bus will drop you off in Los Cristianos,the apartment is a 2 minute walk
