The island of Tenerife lies in the middle of a seven island archipelago some 200km to the west of Morocco surrounded by the crystal clear waters of the Atlantic. Los Cristianos is situated on the Southern tip of the island and is home to a peaceful harbour. The town of Los Cristianos has always been popular. THE OLD QUARTER
Located in the centre of Los Cristianos is the reformed Chapel of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. The surrounding plaza falls away towards the tranquil harbour down busy and interesting side streets, which are home to many aspects of beautiful architecture, peaceful courtyards typical Canarian dwellings and many shops too. There are also many traditional Canarian restaurants. So, do not miss the chance to sample some of the local delicacies.
BEACHES
Either side of the harbour are the glorious golden sand beaches of Playa de Los Cristianos and Playa Las Vistas. These world class award winning beaches play host to a myriad of water-sports, volleyball and other activities. So you can take your pick from deep sea fishing, scuba diving and boat trips. Just don´t forget to take time to watch the spectacular sunset and admire the fabulous sand sculptures.
ATTRACTIONS
Los Cristianos boasts a wide of array of bars and restaurants which cater for a wide diversity of tastes and cultures. In addition you can go whale and dolphin spotting and a five minute taxi ride will deliver you to the brand new global attraction that is Siam Park. This water park is home to an amazing man made beach, numerous slides and rides and also the largest wave machine in the world.
